New Horizons Aviation is conducting the fixed wing flight training and airplane rental at Goshen Municipal Airport and manage the Fixed Base Operation at Kendallville Municipal Airport.  Operated by Dan Steiner, a local corporate pilot and Roger Yoder, a commercial airline captain, our goal is to furnish the most professional aviation experience possible.

Full and part-time instructors are available for flight training and rental check-outs.  New Horzions Aviation is approved as a Part 141 Flight School by the FAA at both our Goshen and Kendallville locations. 

We offer Diamond Aircraft as our primary rental and training airplanes.    The 2 place Diamond Eclipse trainer is used for Private Pilot training and some Instrument training.  The Diamond Star is a 4-seat airplane configured with the Garmin G1000 Avionics Suite.  This state-of-the-art instrument panel provides electronic flight instruments and an advanced moving map display.   Our multi-engine Piper Aztec has been updated with Aspen avionics, and a Bellanca Super Viking is a complex airplane available for students pursuing their Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor licenses.  The Jabiru J170 is a Light-Sport Certified airplane that will be used for LSA training and rental.  Newest to our fleet is a 1999 Cessna 172R.  Gliders are also available at our Kendallville location.
